Here, in the vastness of memory, I trace the fragile topographies of the self, mapping reflections suspended between presence and absence — never not here.

Topography of Terror is an ongoing experimental body of work that reflects on systems of power, control, and ideological violence through the transformation of familiar materials—textiles, printed matter, salt, and fragments of local media. Working from within the place I was raised, the project engages with language and symbols that shaped my identity while also participating in broader structures of fear, silence, and belonging. Each series reworks elements of shared culture into visual reflections on nationalism, erasure, and the tension between visibility and vulnerability…. Learn more

White Noise is an ongoing series of experiments exploring how the mind organizes fragments of memory and thought. Made of uniform paper discs of varying sizes, the layers reflect how memories and emotions accumulate, shift, and reshape over time. The white-on-white aesthetic captures the elusiveness of memory, where light and shadow reveal and conceal, just as our perception of the past constantly changes. Through this work, I investigate the process of layering and how fragments of experience come together to form a complex landscape of human thought and emotion…. Learn more

The Moon Stones series explores the topography of both the moon’s surface and natural formations on Earth, using paper and bee wax to capture the textures of craters and geological patterns. Inspired by the moon’s scars, this work examines the cyclical process of destruction and renewal in both celestial and earthly landscapes.

The series emerged from my curiosity about the moon rocks astronauts brought back, which proved humanity’s presence there. However, I was intrigued by what happened to the objects that collided with the moon. The work reflects this fascination by using salt in some sculptures, symbolizing the natural forces of erosion and transformation.

Moon Stones is an investigation into how time and natural forces shape landscapes, both visible and invisible, and the scars they leave behind. Through this piece, I explore the fragility of matter and the lasting impact of natural processes… Learn more

The Colonies series examines the post-life of colonies—what remains after they collapse and begin to break down, much like the remnants of an archaeological site. By using paper tubes, fragile paper castings, threads, and salt colonies, the work explores the fragility of these systems as they decay. The focus is on the remains—the traces left behind after collapse. Through this exploration, I reflect on the impermanence of systems, both natural and social, and how they transform over time, leaving behind only fragments… Learn more

The Lunar Landscapes series is an ongoing exploration of the moon’s surface and its connection to my emotional topography. Through the manipulation of paper, I explore how the moon’s scars—its craters and marks—reflect the fragility and impermanence of both the external world and the inner self. Each manipulation of the paper is an act of mapping memory and emotion, mirroring how the moon’s surface bears the marks of time and impact. This series is a reflection on how both the moon and our emotional landscapes are shaped by the forces of time and experience, revealing the fragility of life and the ongoing process of transformation and reinterpretation… Learn more

Mapping the Unseen:

An Inquiry into Lunar Imagery and Vulnerability

Mapping the Unseen is an ongoing experiment where I engage with lunar imagery collected from various media over time. Using piercing, restitching, and neon pink accents, I transform these images into an evolving image diary that reflects on vulnerability—both personal and cultural.

The process of layering and altering the images mirrors how memories and emotions accumulate and change over time. By breaking, reshaping, and reassembling the images, I explore how we project meaning onto the moon, and how these projections—like memory—are reinterpreted and reshaped. This ongoing work connects the personal with the cosmic, revealing the layers that bind both the internal and external worlds… Learn more
